More notes from the CWF meetings.  I believe that this is 1962 or 1963 of October.  The president was Mrs. Neal.  Mary Morrison conducted the devotions with the theme "You Have To Listen".  The ideas expressed that we often receive the expression of love without hearing the words of love spoken.  Mrs. Morrison gave the offertory prayer.
Mrs. Alice Eastham presented the program about the Spanish Speaking Church of the Disciples.
Afterwards, a business meeting was held.
Discussion on contributions for members to go to Craig Springs was discussed and several members discussed volunteer work that they had performed in the neighborhood.
The CWF finished a quilt which they gave to Maxine Rowland and they discussed the new quilt they would be beginning.
Plans were made for the Christmas Party and the location.  Mrs. Neal was placed in charge of finding more information.
The meeting was adjourned and Mrs. Morrison and Mrs. Kennedy served refreshments using a Halloween theme.

Craig Springs is a retreat which is owned and operated by the Disciples of Christ.  It is located in New Castle, Virginia.  It is a wonderful place.  I certainly enjoyed going there when I was a teenager. For more information on Craig Springs see the below link.
