My mother saved bulletins from certain Sunday services and today I am posting the April 24, 1988 bulletin.
Over twenty three years ago this coming Sunday the Reverend Melvin Bobbitt was the minister and the music was by Linda Dalton.
The Invocation was delivered by Joe Kinsley.
The Deacons serving on that day were Oscar Kennedy, Dalton Harris, Jeff Abbott and Dick Lassiter.

The Choir sang the song, "Father, We Rest In Thy Love".

There was a scheduled reception for May 22 for Reverend Bobbit and his wife.

Revival began that night with Reverend John Wallace as the speaker.  The Choir from First Baptist Church in Gretna were the guest music for that night.  Gretna Christian Church Choir were scheduled for Monday night, the men form Oak Grove Christian on Tuesday, Liberty Choir on Wednesday, The Meadows Sisters on Thursday, The Joyful Sounds from Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church were scheduled for Friday.

Just that next Sunday there was a scheduled workshop for the CWF/CMF at Rocky Mount Christian Church.

This is definitely a busy active church.
